Intern, Data Analytics and Business Strategy (6 months)

We are looking for an Intern in Malaysia who will assist our Agency Strategy team with data preparation and analysis, developing reporting frameworks to support business monitoring and execution as well as supporting business strategy development. Additionally, the role involves support on executing marketing campaigns.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the preparation and cleaning of data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights and trends that inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain business performance reports to monitor key metrics and business outcomes.
• Support the development of business strategies based on data-driven insights to address business gaps and enhance growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that analytics and reporting solutions meet business requirements.
• Contribute to the execution of strategic initiatives by providing data support and analysis.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, manage agency events logistics, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee agency reward programs, ensure timely fulfilment, and develop performance reports to track key business metrics.
• Assist with administrative support and managing communications with internal and external partners.

Who You Are

• You are pursuing or have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in actuarial science, statistics, data science, business analytics or equivalent.
• You are proficient in data analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI or similar.
• You have excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• You have a pro-active mindset with a passion for business strategy and growth.
• You are able to complete an internship of 6 months.
