Role Description
Are you looking for an internship where you can truly understand how 3D printers worknot just answer surface-level support questions
We are seeking anIntern Customer Service Engineerto join our Customer Service team. This role is designed for students who want to build a solid understanding of 3D printer hardware, operation workflows, and real-world user scenarios through hands-on customer support experience.
At Phrozen, this position starts with learning the fundamentals of our 3D printers, including machine structure, operating procedures, common issues, and usage limitations. You will apply this knowledge directly while supporting global customers through service ticketsprimarily in Englishcovering product inquiries, operational questions, and basic troubleshooting.
This is a long-term, development-focused internship. You will receive full-time, hands-on training during the summer vacation, transition to a flexible hybrid schedule during the semester, and outstanding performers may be offered a full-time Customer Service or Technical Support position after graduation.
What You'll Do
- Support customer service tickets: Assist in responding to customer tickets (primarily in English), including product inquiries, order lead times, shipping status, and basic pre- and post-sales questions
- Support customer service operations: Assist with RMA cases (in-warranty and out-of-warranty), ERP system entries, and shipping/logistics coordination
- Handle shipping and after-sales issues: Support responses related to package exceptions, returns, and basic after-sales service following established procedures
- Participate in basic technical support and troubleshooting: Learn to identify operational issues, usage errors, and common printer problems, providing initial responses or escalating cases as needed
- Support distributor and internal communication: Assist with selected distributor tickets or Chinese-language cases and help track issues across internal teams
- Organize support knowledge and cases: Help document common issues, resolutions, and learning notes to support knowledge base maintenance and process improvement

Who You Are
- A university student (or above) who can work in or commute to Hsinchu
- Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin; comfortable reading and replying to English tickets
- Interested in technical products, hardware, or engineering-related fields
- Detail-oriented, patient, and willing to follow processes while actively learning
- Capable of managing time and handling multiple tasks
- Background in engineering, computer science, or technical fields is a plus (not required)
- Prior exposure to 3D printing, DIY projects, hardware, or technical support is a bonus
Location: Xiangshan District, Hsinchu City (near Xiangshan Elementary School)
Work Hours & Compensation
- Vacation Training: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (full-time)
- During Semester: 3 office days per week (flexible schedule), up to 20 hours per week
- Compensation: NTD 200/hour, with free lunch provided
