Job Description
Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. The intern will be responsible in the following:
- Support full business development function, including sales, marketing, financial modelling, presenting proposals, and negotiating commercial and contractual terms
- Understand customers needs by studying site information, conducting site walks and keep abreast of latest regulatory requirements
- Work with Engineering and Design, Project Development and Operation colleagues to prepare quality technical proposals
- Develop financial models and structure commercial proposals for customers
- Deliver clear and effective presentations to internal stakeholders
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time Learning Outcomes:
- Gain insights in the energy and sustainability sector
- Involved in different stakeholders from various sectors including commercial, industrial and public
- Apply engineering concepts with hands-on experience to develop green end-to-end business solutions
- Cultivate teamwork, leadership, communication and negotiation skills which are essential skillsets for navigating today's business world
- Experience working with a team of professional and dedicated staff in an established engineering company with more than two decades of track records
Job Requirements
- Pursuing Degree in Engineering preferred or Degree in Business with a Diploma in Engineering
- Keen interest in sustainability in the built environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and good team player
