About The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Science Product Intern to support the development, testing, and optimisation of next-generation AI-powered financial products and user intelligence systems.
This role sits at the intersection of:
- data science,
- product analytics,
- AI systems,
- behavioural modelling,
- and product operations.
You will work closely with the Head of Product to analyse user behaviour, improve platform intelligence, optimise trading-related workflows, and support the development of AI-driven recommendation and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Intelligence & User Analytics
- Analyse platform usage data and user behaviour patterns
- Identify trends that improve user engagement, retention, and product performance
- Support the development of recommendation systems and behavioural insights models
- Assist in measuring product effectiveness using performance and engagement metrics
- Signals & Recommendation Systems
- Support research and testing of data-driven recommendation frameworks
- Help evaluate the effectiveness of various signal and ranking systems
- Assist in improving product personalisation and user-product matching
- Conduct basic analysis on historical performance data and behavioural outcomes
- AI Systems & Automation
- Support the development and optimisation of AI-powered automation systems
- Assist in training and refining AI models and workflow logic
- Help structure datasets and improve data quality pipelines
- Work with internal teams to test and validate AI-generated outputs
- Product Testing & Workflow Optimisation
- Assist in testing platform features and user journeys
- Identify friction points, inconsistencies, or usability issues
- Provide structured feedback from a product and data perspective
- Support cross-functional coordination across product, operations, and analytics teams
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in AI, data science, fintech, trading, or recommendation systems
- Comfortable working with datasets, spreadsheets, and structured information
- Strong communication and organisational ability
- Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment
- Bonus: familiarity with Python, SQL, trading platforms, LLMs, or data visualisation tools
