Bert Labs, an international award-winning and rapidly growing AI Innovation Company, is seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Senior/Lead Research Engineer - Full Stack (Frontend & Backend).
You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge cloud applications based on a microservices architecture.
This role demands extensive experience across the full application lifecycle, a passion for innovation, and the ability to contribute to a robust machine learning platform and end-to-end IoT solutions.
Key Responsibilities Stack Development & Architecture
- Design and execute the development efforts for both the client-side (frontend) and server-side (backend) of our microservices architecture-based cloud applications.
- Integrate user-facing elements with robust server-side logic, ensuring seamless functionality and high Lifecycle Management :
- Actively participate in the entire application lifecycle, with a strong focus on both
development and rigorous testing.
- Take ownership of projects end-to-end, including gathering requirements, solutioning, designing architecture, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Collaboration :
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to build a robust machine learning platform.
- Work with Software Backend Engineers to provide a seamless user experience for complex, high-traffic applications.
- Partner with Embedded Firmware Engineers to build a robust end-to-end IoT solution, connecting hardware with cloud & Leadership :
- Embrace an Entrepreneurial Leadership role, where you are expected to innovate daily and consistently push beyond current capabilities.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and proactively identify opportunities for their adoption within the Bert Platform Qualifications :
- Engineering degree from IITs/BITS/NITs/Jadavpur University/DTU/Top Engineering Institutes in USA, Europe, :
- Proven relevant work experience of 5 - 10 years as a Software Developer in a Product, Platform, Deep Tech, AI, IoT, Semiconductor, or Embedded Systems Management :
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects end-to-end, including gathering requirements, solutioning and designing architecture, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining systems.
Technical Proficiency
- Excellent data structure & algorithm and problem-solving skills.
- Strong hands-on experience in Angular and preferably Next.js.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of any OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) based programming
language.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
