Responsibilities:
- Execute trading activities in interest rates and derivatives to maximize profitability.
- Provide the marketing team with price quotes, market analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor trends and economic indicators affecting interest rates to develop trading strategies.
- Conduct risk analysis and manage trading positions with effective hedging.
- Maintain relationships with clients and communicate market developments.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in interest rate trading or finance.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of global financial markets and interest rate products.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing complex data and market drivers.
- Attention to Detail: Disciplined and focused on accurate record-keeping and compliance.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Chinese proficiency in Putonghua is preferred.
- TMA Membership: Must be a member of the Treasury Markets Association (TMA) or committed to obtaining membership.
