Position Summary
ADLINK is seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of Intelligent Systems Division to lead our Intelligent Systems product business. This role is responsible for defining and executing the division's business and product strategy, leading a high-performing product management organization, and driving the development of next-generation Intelligent Systems solutions for industrial automation, Edge AI, and mission-critical applications worldwide.
The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with strong execution capabilities, possesses deep industry expertise, and has a proven track record of building competitive product portfolios while driving sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the division's business strategy, product roadmap, and portfolio plan in alignment with ADLINK's corporate objectives and evolving market opportunities.
- Product Innovation: Lead product planning, definition, and go-to-market strategy to deliver innovative, high-reliability Intelligent Systems platforms for industrial automation, Edge AI, robotics, and IoT applications.
- Hands-on Product Management: Actively participate in product planning and execution, including product specifications, roadmap planning, design reviews, lifecycle management, and support for strategic customer engagements.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, customer requirements, and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain market leadership.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product development and timely market delivery.
- Customer & Partner Engagement: Lead strategic customer engagements, RFQ/RFP activities, design-win initiatives, and executive-level relationships with key customers and ecosystem partners.
- Portfolio Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept, development, NPI, commercialization, and end-of-life while optimizing profitability and resource
- Go-to-Market Excellence: Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop product positioning, value propositions, sales enablement materials, and successful product launch strategies.
- People Leadership: Build, coach, and develop a high-performing Product Management team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industrial computing, embedded systems, IPC, or Edge AI industry, including at least 3 years in a people leadership or management role.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional product development and launching industrial computing or Intelligent Systems products into global markets.
- Strong knowledge of the industrial computing ecosystem, including customer applications, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies such as Edge AI, industrial automation, robotics, and IoT.
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, analytical capability, and execution skills, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable business results.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging executives, customers, and partners across global regions.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required for business needs.
