Job Title: Digital Payments Integration Engineer
Location: Taiwan (On-site)
Job Summary: We are hiring a Digital Payments Integration Engineer to support digital wallet and payment integrations with commercial banks in Taiwan. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Mandarin and English and have experience with mobile wallet technologies, token services, and payment API integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate digital payment solutions with banking systems.
- Implement In-App Provisioning SDK on iOS & Android.
- Support Apple Wallet (PassKit), Google Wallet, WebView, JavaScript Bridge, PWA, and MiniApp integrations.
- Manage token and PAN lifecycle operations.
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs and banking/payment processor systems.
- Collaborate with local banking partners and regional technical teams.
- Prepare technical documentation in Mandarin and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken); able to conduct technical discussions and produce documentation in both languages.
- Solid understanding of the 4-party payments model (issuer, acquirer, network, merchant) and broader card payment ecosystem mechanics.
- Hands-on experience with In-App Provisioning SDK integration.
- iOS depth: Apple Wallet / PassKit framework, App Extensions (non-UI card-data lookup extension; UI authentication extension).
- Android depth: wallet integration (Google Wallet or equivalent OEM wallet APIs).
- Front-end integration experience: WebView + JavaScript bridge, PWA and/or MiniApp embedding.
- Token Service knowledge: full token lifecycle (activate / resume / suspend / delete) and PAN lifecycle (PAN updates, expiry updates, VAU).
- Back-end integration: multi-party REST/SOAP API integration; familiarity with commercial bank core/host/processor system architectures.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and cross-cultural environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with or for a global payment network (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, etc.).
- Exposure to EMVCo tokenisation specifications and/or PCI-DSS security requirements.
- Experience integrating with Taiwan-market banks or processors.
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies.
✈️ Travel: 2–4 weeks training in Singapore at project start.
