Job Description

As an Analyst in the Infrastructure Funds Corporate Banking team at JPMorgan Chase Hong Kong, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and management of relationships with leading global infrastructure funds across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. You will work closely with senior bankers and product partners to deliver a comprehensive suite of financial solutions to meet the needs of clients.This role offers exposure to high-profile transactions and senior stakeholders in a dynamic, collaborative, and international environment. You will assist in managing internal processes for deal executions, internal approvals, and ongoing management of client relationship.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and development of client relationships with global infrastructure funds across APAC, including preparing market updates and pitch books.
  • Prepare internal committee papers and participation in committee discussions to secure approval for new transactions
  • Conduct industry and company research to support origination efforts
  • Maintain internal reports including deal tracking, pipeline reports, and senior management briefings
  • Assist with regulatory and country-level reporting requirements relevant to APAC jurisdictions
  • Work closely with product and sector teams (e.g., M&A, IFA, Markets, Treasury Services) to deliver integrated solutions to clients across the region
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives as required by the team

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, or other related fields
  • Minimum 1 year of corporate banking, investment banking or funds experience
  • Fluency in English required
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage cross cultural environments and foster inter-department collaboration / behavior
  • Strong team player with the ability to take ownership of tasks, which includes having sound commercial sense, a good set ofinfluencing skills and the ability to build trust with clients as well as internal stakeholders
  • Able to perform under pressure, has the ability to multi-task and work effectively across geographies/time zones
  • High level of motivation, dependability, intelligence, attention to detail & a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other lines of business
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Strong awareness of external tools essential to drive the client agenda. e.g. Dealogic and Coalition market data analysis, Rating Agency analysis, economic data, brokerage reports, etc.
