【About the Role】
You will oversee the company's cloud-based systems, ensuring they remain stable, secure, and operating efficiently, playing a key role in supporting the reliability and performance of the infrastructure behind the business.
【What You'll Be Doing】
- Define the cloud strategy, operations and roadmap for VGT. Manage the existing cloud infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Develop, maintain, publish and rollout infrastructure related policies.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance on cloud infrastructure-related issues. In-house consultation on SAAS and cloud-related solutions. Manage cloud architecture, migrations, optimizations, Cloud security assessments and remediations.
- Infrastructure management – oversee corporate infrastructure = servers, storage, backup platforms, networking connectivity services and Local Data Centre.
- IT projects – Deliver infrastructure, cloud, security and enterprise technology & Co-ordinate internal business teams, Group IT, vendors.
- Vendor & Service Provide management – relationship management with infra, cloud, networking and managed service providers. Define technical requirements and evaluate supplier proposals. Oversee supplier performance, Deliverable, SLAs and contract compliance.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity – Own & coordinate IT Service Continuity management and Disaster Recovery. Co-ordinate suppliers & stakeholders, identify lessons learned and implement improvement actions.
- Budget planning and financial control for annual IT infrastructure and security spend, including preparation of yearly budget forecasts, tracking of actual costs versus approved budgets, coordination of supplier invoices and payments.
【Qualification and Skills】
- Minimum 8 years of progressive IT experience
- Minimum 3 years experiencing managing cloud infra, networking or enterprise platforms. Certifications and continuing education preferred
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent in other clouds
- Industry certifications like ITIL foundation, CISSP, PMP, ISMS are a plus
- FinOps Certified practitioner is good to have
