This role is responsible for leading Porsche Taiwan's IT function, ensuring reliable IT operations, secure infrastructure, and business-aligned technology solutions. You will oversee IT strategy, infrastructure, information security, and project delivery while partnering with business stakeholders and Porsche AG to drive digital excellence and operational efficiency.
Job Description
Be responsible for IT Foundations
- Oversee IT operations to ensure reliable support for business activities.
- Serve as the primary local IT contact with Porsche AG on IT-related matters.
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage the IT landscape, ensuring systems are secure, compliant, and support business needs.
- Oversee IT budget planning, procurement, and vendor/contract management.
Manage and Coordinate for all IT Projects
- Engage the project life cycle management and methodology.
- Control IT project to ensure the quality of the deliverables and the compliance of Porsche IT guidelines.
- Archive documents, files of all projects follow Porsche Group guideline.
Conduct Business Analysis for Business Relevant IT Solutions
- Work with Porsche Taiwan business teams to obtain in-depth understanding of the business requirements while IT support is necessary.
- Analyze the business requirements, search for the proper system/application solution with the vendor demonstration, selection, and cost information.
Take charge of IT Infrastructure Architecture & Help Desk
- Ensure a stable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure and network environment.
- Manage office infrastructure, connectivity, and data center operations.
- Oversee IT Help Desk services to deliver timely support for Porsche Taiwan and dealer/partner networks.
IT Security
- Serve as the Local Information Security Officer (LISO) and ensure compliance with Porsche Group information security policies.
- Develop and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and security strategy.
- Manage information security risks, incidents, reporting, and business continuity.
- Drive security awareness, training, and IT security operations to protect business systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Management Information Systems or the relevant curriculum
- At least 8 years working experience in IT or the relevant fields
- At least 5 years working experience in multi-national company
- Fluent English (Mandarin and German is a plus)
- Desirable certifications: CCNA, ITIL, PMP / PRINCE2, CISM
- Experience in automotive industry, product management or similar job positions
- Decision-Making capability, stakeholder management
