WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Role
We are seeking a driven Industrialization Engineer to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and supplier development initiatives. This role bridges engineering and manufacturing by ensuring product designs are optimized for scalable, cost-effective, and high-quality production.
The successful candidate will lead supplier identification, qualification, and development, while providing hands-on, on-site support during pre-production builds (EVT/DVT/PVT). This role is critical in ensuring smooth transition from design to mass production for advanced liquid cooling solutions used in datacenter applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead DFM/DFA and Value Engineering activities to optimize product designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability.
- Define and refine manufacturing process flows to balance efficiency, scalability, and product requirements.
- Provide on-site support during EVT/DVT/PVT builds to identify risks and drive rapid issue resolution.
- Generate and analyze build reports (yield, cycle time, defects) to guide continuous improvement actions.
- Investigate and resolve production issues using structured problem-solving methodologies and validate corrective actions.
- Review and approve PPAP/PSW submissions to ensure supplier readiness for mass production.
- Identify, qualify, and develop suppliers based on technical capability, cost, and performance.
- Lead cost reduction initiatives and engineering changes (ECNs) to improve product value and production efficiency.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 40% Domestic, Up to 5% International
Who You Are
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product industrialization
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (CAD) and familiarity with PDM systems
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with NPI phases (EVT/DVT/PVT) and production ramp-up
- Knowledge of quality and process tools (FMEA, DOE, Cp/Cpk, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
- Experience with supplier development, PPAP, and production validation processes
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Fluent in English for technical communication and documentation
