Job Responsibilities
- Developing capacity models using mathematical modeling to calculate/predict both short term and long term capital requirements for the wafer fab.
- Plan and implement capital projects to support capacity and new technology requirements.
- Analyze production data, performance metrics, and operational parameters to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Make data-driven decisions to optimize yield, cycle time, and overall fab performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional & Global teams, including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and coordination of activities. Foster effective communication channels and build strong working relationships.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, evaluate existing workflows, and develop strategies to enhance OEE, reduce costs, and increase throughput.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting lean manufacturing principles, driving waste reduction initiatives, and implementing best practices across the fab.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Ensure consistent implementation and adherence to established procedures.
Job Requirements
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering or a relevant field is a must
- Experience in Semiconductor Industry preferred
- Experience in Python is preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, practices, and principles
- Exemplary communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written)
- Excellent Project Management, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to use software models to solve problems
- Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, and perform well under pressure
