Incoming Quality Control Supervisor in Eaton's
Electrical Business, based in

What You'll Do
The Incoming Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing incoming material quality control, supplier quality management, and leading the IQC team to ensure that all materials meet defined quality requirements prior to production.
- Lead and manage incoming quality control (IQC) activities to ensure materials meet specifications and quality standards.
- Review inspection results and make disposition decisions (accept, reject, MRB, deviation).
- Drive effective handling of incoming quality issues and prevent recurrence through structured problem solving (8D / SCAR).
- Monitor supplier quality performance and support continuous improvement.
- Manage, coach, and develop IQC team members; enhance inspection capability and efficiency.
- Ensure inspection equipment, calibration, and quality documentation comply with system requirements (ISO).
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams.
- Support incoming quality planning for new product introduction (NPI).
- Provide quality status and improvement insights to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- 8 years of related experience in quality management or IQC-related roles.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in quality or IQC preferred.
- Previous UPS Experience is preferred.
- Good English skill.
- Working knowledge in UPS quality processes.
- Strong knowledge of incoming inspection processes, AQL, and supplier quality management.
- Basic proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, RCA, SPC, Cp/Cpk.
- Familiarity with inspection and measurement equipment and quality documentation systems.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 is a plus.
- Six Sigma Green belt certified is a plus.
- Quality risk assessment and judgment.
- Problem analysis and continuous improvement capability.
- Strong communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Team leadership, resilience, and ability to work under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with strong discipline and integrity.
