Job Responsibilities: - Review, draft and negotiate main contracts, subcontractor agreements, supplier agreements and other commercial contracts.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, from review and negotiation through to completion.
- Work closely with project, procurement, finance and operations teams to identify and manage contractual and commercial risks.
- Monitor contractual obligations, key milestones, claims and potential disputes.
- Provide legal advice on EOT, progress claims, Loss & Expense claims and other project-related matters.
- Support tender and bid submissions by reviewing contractual terms, risks and commercial conditions.
- Advise project teams and management on commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with dispute resolution and negotiations to protect the company's interests.
- Provide legal guidance on supplier issues, project delays and recovery plans.
- Ensure contracts and business activities comply with applicable laws and company policies
Job Requirements: - Qualified lawyer and called to the Bar in Singapore or a recognised common law jurisdiction.
- LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification.
- 5–8 years PQE with experience in a law firm or in-house legal environment.
- Strong experience in contracts, commercial transactions and dispute resolution.
- Experience in the construction, engineering or related project-based industry is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication and commercial skills.
- Able to work independently and provide practical, business-focused legal advice
