Data Center Operations Supervisor | GMI Cloud | Taipei, Taiwan (Onsite)
GMI Cloud is a high-growth private AI cloud provider and an NVIDIA Reference Cloud Partner, operating GPU clusters across Taipei, Thailand, and Dallas. We run GB300 NVL72 as our current production mainstay, with a 60MW cluster confirmed for 2027 and an Infra team scaling toward 100 engineers. This is a hands-on role at the physical layer of that build-out.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Data Center Operations Supervisor supervises daily data center operational activities and onsite operators to ensure stable, secure, and compliant operations. The role focuses on operational execution, SOP compliance, incident coordination, asset management support, physical security operations, and basic monitoring of data center facility infrastructure and MEP systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Supervise daily onsite operator activities and shift operations
• Ensure SOPs and operational procedures are properly followed
• Coordinate incident handling and escalation activities
• Support rack and stack, cabling, hardware installation, and decommission activities
• Support asset management activities, including inventory tracking, asset movement, and documentation maintenance
• Support physical security operations, including visitor and vendor access coordination and access control procedures
• Monitor and report abnormal conditions related to data center infrastructure and facility environments
• Coordinate operational activities with internal teams, vendors, and facility teams
• Maintain operational logs, checklists, reports, and documentation
• Provide operational guidance and support to onsite operators
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• 3+ years of experience in data center operations or infrastructure operations
• Experience coordinating or supervising operational activities
• Familiarity with data center operational procedures and daily operation workflows
• Basic understanding of MEP systems, including UPS, cooling systems, PDUs, generators, and fire suppression systems
• Familiarity with asset management and physical security operations
• Experience with incident handling and escalation processes
• Familiarity with ITSM or ticketing systems
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, and networking concepts
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a 24x7 operational environment
• Chinese and basic English communication capability

• Occupational Safety and Health First Aid Personnel certification
• Fire Safety Manager certification
