Role Overview
As a System Integrator (SI), the company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure, network projects.
This role is primarily focused on project management and resource coordination. Technical capability is required at a conceptual and coordination level rather than hands-on engineering.
Key Responsibilities
A. Project Management (70%)
1.Project Management
- Manage the full project lifecycle (planning, execution, delivery, and acceptance).
- Develop project plans and schedules; control scope, timeline, cost, and quality.
- Identify risks and drive issue resolution.
2.Technical Coordination & Implementation
- Participate in technical solution reviews to ensure feasibility and deliverability.
- Coordinate technical teams for network, server, and cloud-related implementation.
- Review technical documentation and provide project updates to clients.
3.Vendor & Site Management
- Coordinate and manage vendors during the project execution phase.
- Monitor implementation progress and supervise on-site delivery quality.
- Oversee site resource planning and issue resolution.
- Participate in milestone and final acceptance processes.
- Evaluate vendor performance and drive continuous improvement.
4.Data Center & Operations Handover
- Participate in deployment and commissioning of data center IT systems and network equipment.
- Lead post-delivery operational handover.
- Assist in establishing or optimizing SLA processes and operational standards.
5.Project Process Optimization
- Summarize project experience and identify delivery improvement areas.
- Promote standardization of IT and network project management processes.
- Improve delivery efficiency and quality control mechanisms.
6.Client & Internal Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams.
- Provide regular project status updates and risk reporting.
B.Presales Support Capability for Small-Scale Projects (30%)
- Independent Presales Technical Support: Independently provide presales technical support for small-scale projects, such as single-site dedicated line provisioning, office opening packages, equipment resale, and other standard product deployments, without requiring the involvement of a dedicated Solution Engineer (SE).
- Direct Technical Communication: Communicate directly with customers to understand and clarify technical requirements quickly and accurately, minimizing information gaps or distortion in the traditional Sales → SE → PM communication process.
- Technical Solution Design & Quotation: Independently develop technical solutions and prepare quotation configurations for small-scale projects, ensuring an appropriate balance between technical feasibility and commercial competitiveness.
- Technical Tender Response: Independently prepare the technical sections of tender documents for small-scale projects and accurately address technical requirements specified in RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposal).
- Technical Presentation & Q&A: Deliver technical presentations and respond directly to customer inquiries for small-scale projects, strengthening customers confidence in CTG's technical capabilities.
- Initial Technical Troubleshooting: Perform preliminary assessment and rapid identification of technical issues arising during project implementation, reducing response time and reliance on dedicated technical teams.
- Alignment with Delivery Standards: Clearly communicate project implementation plans and delivery standards to customers, ensuring that technical commitments are fully aligned with actual delivery capabilities.
Requirements
1.Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or above (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Networking, or related fields preferred).
- PMP or ITIL certification preferred.
- Additional certifications such as CCNA or HCIA are a plus.
2.Work Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system integration, or network-related projects;
- Preferred experience in: Singapore telecom operators or ISPs, Data centre projects, Enterprise network integration (especially banking projects), Digital transformation initiatives, AI-enabled industry projects.
3.Technical Understanding
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing & switching, firewall, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of servers, virtualization, and cloud architecture
- Ability to interpret technical proposals and coordinate discussions
- Experience in digital transformation or AI-related solutions is a plus
4.Management Capability
- Ability to independently manage small to medium-sized projects
- Experience in vendor and site management
- Strong awareness of schedule, cost, and quality control
- Excellent coordination and execution skills
5.Soft Skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and execution capability
