IC Production Coordinator

Sequans Communications is a 4G/5G chipmaker, supplying LTE/5G to original equipment manufacturers and original design manufacturers worldwide.

We are searching for an IC Production Coordinator to serve as the primary interface between the company and OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) partners. This role ensures smooth execution of IC manufacturing, packaging, testing, and reliability qualification activities while maintaining high production yield and operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

OSAT Relationship Management

• Act as the company's primary point of contact with OSAT partners.

• Coordinate communication and ensure timely delivery of technical documents and project updates.

Production Monitoring & Quality Control

• Monitor ongoing production yield and identify/report anomalous performance trends.

• Develop contingency plans for OSAT delays or yield drops.

Project Coordination

• Manage various project types, including:

• Second or alternative sourcing (e.g., substrate, memory).

• New IC introduction (silicon fabrication, package design, IC manufacturing).

• IC Reliability qualification ( stress, test & report )

• New ATE test program qualification at OSAT.

• Oversee activities such as schedule tracking, RFQ and PO arrangements, and technical documentation flow.

Asset & Inventory Management

• Track company assets at OSAT facilities.

• Maintain inventory/asset records & control their shipments between facilities.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with NPI, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align project timelines and deliverables.

• Support audits and certification processes when required.

Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize test and packaging.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or related field.

• Strong understanding of IC manufacturing processes, OSAT operations, and reliability testing.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Proficiency in data analysis for yield monitoring and anomaly detection.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills for vendor coordination.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot anomalies and ensure quality standards.

• Problem-Solving: Quick resolution of production or logistics issues.

• Time Management: Prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

PROFILE:

• 5+ years in semiconductor production or OSAT coordination roles.

• Familiarity with IC Production Manufacturing Processes & Technologies

• Experience with ERP systems for inventory and asset tracking.

• Excellent written and oral communications skills in English

• Ability to communicate with remote teams
