Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an IB and IGCSE Chemistry Teacher located in Yunlin County, Taiwan. The teacher is responsible for developing and delivering lesson plans, teaching IB and IGCSE Chemistry courses, and fostering a stimulating learning environment. Additional responsibilities include monitoring student progress, providing feedback to students and parents, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Chemistry Education with strong knowledge of IB and IGCSE curriculum frameworks
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and creating engaging educational resources
- Strong Teaching abilities with classroom management and student engagement strategies
- Effective Communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience or interest in teaching Physics is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Teaching certification or equivalent qualifications in education
- Proficiency in English; fluency in Mandarin is a plus but not required
- Passion for student learning and development in an international education setting
