About the Role
UCB Taiwan seeks an experienced I2I Specialist to join our finance team. This role supports the I2I Lead and work closely with middle office, procurement, and GENPACT teams to ensure compliance with local and corporate financial standards. Key responsibilities include managing month-end closing, optimizing processes, supporting audits, and contributing to forecasting and business cases for both Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure financial transactions comply with company policies and procedures through cross-functional collaboration.
- Deliver regular training and onboarding for new team members; maintain up-to-date training materials.
- Oversee month-end, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including tax and transfer pricing requirements.
- Manage daily sales and incentive reporting.
- Provide treasury support, including SSI preparation and compliance with local banking and customs requirements.
- Drive S2P and R2R process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
- Support external and internal audits and tax-related matters (FS, CIT, WHT, VAT, etc.).
- Contribute to business case analysis, reporting optimization, and budget planning.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Ideal Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or business operations, including project management.
- Experience with a multi-national company and a healthcare industry is preferable.
- Proficiency in MS Office, presentation tools, and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
- Ability to work effectively across geographies and cultures; resilient and adaptable.
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Skilled at managing competing priorities and working under pressure.
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
