Job Description

Your Job

As an Account Manager, you will manage assigned business units within a strategic hyperscale and advanced compute customer account in Taiwan. The primary purpose of this role is to drive profitable revenue growth for Molex by creating new demand, defending existing business, and securing long term design in wins. This is a highly visible, customer facing position responsible for owning technical engagement, commercial execution, and cross functional alignment from early design through production ramp, serving as the main interface between the customer and Molex.

Our Team

This role sits within the Sales GIG Datacom organization, as part of the global account management team responsible for strategic customer engagement. You will work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering, collaborating across functions to enable successful customer integration of Molex products and accelerate both design wins and revenue growth across the account ecosystem.

What You Will Do

  • Own a portfolio of strategic hyperscale accounts, driving design in initiatives, long term revenue growth, and overall account P&L responsibility.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that enable early technical engagement, align customer architectures with Molex capabilities, and secure sustainable design wins.
  • Build and maintain trusted, senior level relationships across customer engineering, architecture, procurement, and operations organizations to influence roadmaps and platform decisions.
  • Lead customer engagements from early architecture discussions through proofs of concept, pilot builds, reference designs, and production ramps.
  • Drive execution by mobilizing cross functional teams—including Applications Engineering, R&D, Signal Integrity, Quality, and Manufacturing—to meet aggressive technical and schedule targets.
  • Own design in schedules, dependency tracking, and risk registers, proactively identifying tradeoffs and mitigating risks to keep programs on track.
  • Act as the primary interface ensuring technical progress aligns with customer acceptance criteria and system integration milestones.
  • Lead pricing strategy, commercial terms, forecasts, and contract negotiations tied to design milestones, volume ramps, and lifecycle commitments.
  • Align commercial agreements with technical deliverables, capacity planning, and long term platform adoption strategies.
  • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities, engaging internal business units to secure resources and accelerate execution.
  • Conduct executive level business reviews and technical deep dives with customers and internal leadership.
  • Ensure smooth transitions from design win to production by closely coordinating with supply chain and manufacturing during ramp planning.
  • Capture customer feedback, competitive insights, and system level requirements to influence internal product roadmaps and reduce time to production.
  • Continuously deepen technical, system, and business knowledge to effectively navigate complex hyperscale customer environments.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, a technical discipline, or a related field.
  • Experience in a sales or account management role within the electronics or interconnect industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and effectively position solutions to both customers and internal Molex business units.
  • Proven capability to build strategic customer and distributor relationships across a wide range of functional roles.
  • Strong communication skills with an open minded, customer oriented working style, along with self motivation and willingness to take on challenging assignments.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supporting products or markets related to Datacenter, Router, Switch, or Server, with a background in Product Management, Account Management, FAE, or Hardware Design.
  • Prior experience in the hardware, connector, or interconnect market.
