Purpose Of The Role
The
HR Specialist (payroll) is responsible for ensuring the seamless, accurate, and timely execution of end-to-end payroll processes and related system maintenance in compliance with local regulations. In addition to managing core payroll operations, this role acts as a key collaborative partner to the HR Leader, assisting in the design, implementation, and localization of key HR projects and the establishment of robust internal guidelines for the Taiwan office.
What You'll Do
- Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required.
- Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws.
- Timely processing of payroll.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including social insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary deductions. Coordinate with vendors and employees to ensure accuracy.
- Manage tax and withholding records and payments.
- Addressing employee queries related to payroll, withholding tax, or wage adjustments.
- Solid knowledge of HR process & system.
What Will Make You Successful
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Administration or relevant field.
- Familiarity with labor legislation e.g. Labor Standard Law, Income Tax Act and related regulations.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Good with numbers and strong analytical.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or HRIS payroll software.
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines.
- SAP payroll or Soar Cloud payroll experiences is preferred.
