As we expand into Taiwan we're looking for a dynamic HR- Talent Acquisition Lead to build and lead our local talent strategy.

Role Summary

We are looking for an HR Manager to support our Taipei office, combining strategic HRBP responsibilities, hands-on Talent Acquisition, and General Affairs or Office Operations oversight.

This role will serve as a key people partner for business leaders, ensuring effective hiring, strong employee support, and a well-managed office environment that enables business growth in Taiwan.

This is a senior role, hands-on role with strong ownership, expected to operate independently while partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders.

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for Taiwan office, focusing on marketing, and operational roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to forecast needs, craft job briefs, and define hiring strategies.
  • Source, screen, and manage candidate pipelines using both active and passive channels.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality hires while maintaining excellent candidate experience.
  • Track and report on hiring metrics: speed, fulfillment rate, and candidate quality.

People Management

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and translate these into effective HR strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on HR initiatives to drive business performance.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent in the skincare industry.
  • Involve in recruitment process, ensuring a diverse and high-quality candidate pool.
  • Coordinate the performance appraisal process and review appraisal results to identify strengths, and areas for improvement across the organization.
  • Advise managers on effective performance management techniques and tools.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine appropriate disciplinary measures that compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to the business

Attendance

  • Registration of new employee.
  • Daily attendance reporting and coordinate with department managers to verify employee attendance and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Removal of resigned employee from attendance system

IT Management

  • Manage new laptop request and purchases.
  • IT devices labelling and maintenance of laptop record.
  • Liaise with IT Technician for troubleshooting.

Employee Welfare

  • Assisting the HR team with onboarding and termination processes.
  • Organize monthly breakfast for respective team.
  • Medical Insurance registration for new and resigned employees.
  • Handling travel and accommodations

Office Maintenance

  • Maintain good office condition such as lighting, renovations, CCTV and etc.
  • Managing office inventory such as stationery, equipment, and furniture.
  • Overseeing office services like cleaners and maintenance service providers.
  • Recording and maintaining office expenses.
  • Well experience in HR, attendance record & etc.
  • Good understanding in Taiwan's employment law. Eg: How to hire Malaysian in Taiwan & etc.
  • Experienced in hotel, cars, flight booking when colleagues from other regions are visiting Taiwan office.

Requirements

  • 710+ years of experience in; HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition (hands-on), General Affairs / Office Operations
  • Strong understanding of Taiwan labor law and local HR practices.
  • Experience supporting an office in a regional or multinational environment.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and operate independently.
  • Strong execution, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
