Job Description
Role Summary
The HR Intern supports the HR team, dedicating 80% of working time to Talent Acquisition and 20% to HR Operations.
Working under the guidance of HR team members, the intern helps coordinate recruitment activities, maintain accurate records, and deliver a positive candidate and employee experience while gaining practical HR experience
Talent Acquisition Support - 80%
- Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, and initial resume screening against agreed role requirements
- Coordinate interviews and assessments, communicate with candidates, and follow up with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Welcome candidates arriving for interviews, assist with visitor registration, and coordinate with interviewers to ensure a smooth interview experience.
- Maintain and manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment trackers, keeping candidate records and hiring status up to date and preparing basic recruitment reports
- Support campus recruitment, internship hiring, and career fairs, including school communications, event logistics, and follow-up
- Prepare recruitment materials and draft employer branding content for HR review
- Assist with recruitment documentation and pre-employment administration, coordinating the handover of confirmed hires for onboarding
HR Operations Support - 20%
- Support new hire onboarding through document collection, orientation coordination, and checklist follow-up.
- Update employee records, organize HR documents, and compile routine HR data under HR guidance.
- Assist with employee communications and logistics for training and engagement activities.
- Perform other HR-related duties and assignments as requested by HR leaders
Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree; Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields preferred.
- Can contribute at least 3 days per week, onsite in Taiwan
- Interest in recruitment and HR; previous HR experience is not required.
- Good communication skills in Mandarin and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and willingness to learn HR systems.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Demonstrates integrity, respect for others, and discretion when handling candidate and employee information
