The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to assigned business units, aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This role provides comprehensive HR support, including talent management, performance management, organizational development, change management and coaching. The HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership:
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on HR-related matters, contributing to the development and implementation of business strategies.
- Understand the business group's goals, challenges, and opportunities, and align HR initiatives to support them.
- Proactively identify HR needs and develop solutions to address them.
- Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide HR insights and recommendations.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
Talent Management:
- Partner with site leaders to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Support talent development initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, and training and development programs.
- Identify and address talent gaps and develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Performance Management:
- Provide insights to business leaders on employee performance and its impact on business results.
- Facilitate calibration sessions to ensure that performance ratings are consistent and fair across different departments and managers.
- Advise on how to use performance data to inform talent management decisions, such as succession planning and career development.
Organizational Development:
- Support the implementation of employee engagement surveys.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Facilitate team-building and organizational development activities.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on leadership development and team effectiveness.
- Identify and address organizational development needs.
HR Operations Excellence:
- Administer Corp HR programs and processes implementation in each site, for ensuring the execution compliance with Corp HR policy and guidelines.
- Prepare and present HR reports to support business leaders to make decisions on organization management.
- Coaching site HR on improving operation support to develop, retain and engage employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with 6 years focus on HRBP roles or full functions roles.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Relevant HR certifications, e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, etc. are a plus.
