Job Description

The Human Resource Executive is responsible for supporting the full spectrum of human resource functions to ensure the smooth operation of the company's workforce. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll administration, training coordination, policy implementation, and compliance with Singapore employment legislation. The role works closely with management to foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR processes are efficient and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, reference checks, and employment offers.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Maintain recruitment records and talent pipelines.

Employee Administration

  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, promotion letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Administer employee leave, attendance, and benefits.
  • Handle employee confirmations, transfers, resignations, and exit interviews.

Payroll & Benefits

  • Prepare monthly payroll information and coordinate with payroll providers.
  • Administer statutory contributions including CPF, IRAS submissions, and government-related claims.
  • Manage employee insurance, medical benefits, and leave entitlements.
  • Ensure timely processing of payroll-related documentation.

Performance Management

  • Coordinate probation reviews and annual performance appraisal exercises.
  • Monitor employee performance review schedules.
  • Support managers in implementing performance improvement initiatives.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate internal and external training programmes.
  • Identify employee training needs and maintain training records.
  • Assist with SkillsFuture, government grants, and workforce development initiatives where applicable.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR enquiries.
  • Support employee engagement activities and company events.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee well-being.
  • Assist in resolving workplace issues and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.

Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure compliance with the Singapore Employment Act and other labour regulations.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Support workplace health and safety initiatives where required.

HR Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics, and management reports.
  • Monitor headcount, turnover, and recruitment metrics.
  • Maintain HR filing systems and documentation.
  • Support other administrative duties assigned by management.
