In this role, you will impact the organization by helping to maintain a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, reducing workplace hazards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational safety and sustainability.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in developing and executing HSE strategies aligned with organizational goals to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications by monitoring and reporting on HSE performance.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 2+ years of experience in health, safety, and environmental engineering or related field
- Holders of the Class B Occupational Safety and Health Supervisor Certificate
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices relevant to industrial environments
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to support workplace safety improvements
- Familiarity with HSE management systems and reporting tools applicable to process industries
- Other tasks assigned by the supervisor
