Position Summary
The HR manager acts as a strategic bridge between corporate human resources and operational business units within a large corporate structure. This role aligns people strategies with operational objectives, driving compliance, talent execution, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement across diverse business lines. The ideal candidate possesses deep regulatory expertise and stakeholder management skills, capable of operating seamlessly both as a collaborative team player and as an autonomous individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance & Regulatory Governance
- Ensure strict adherence to regional employment ordinances, statutory requirements, and corporate governance frameworks across all business units.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on labor laws, mitigating operational risks by providing sound, legally compliant guidance on complex employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievances.
- Regularly review and update HR policies and workflows to maintain alignment with evolving local legislation and internal corporate standards.
2. Strategic Stakeholder Management & Advisory
- Partner closely with diverse business unit heads, senior managers, and operational leaders to understand business goals and formulate tailored workforce solutions.
- Build trust and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships, acting as a reliable advisor on performance management, organizational structuring, and change management.
- Navigate complex matrices within a large corporate environment, balancing corporate mandates with unit-specific operational needs.
3. Talent Execution & HR Operations
- Oversee and support end-to-end talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies for key operational and specialist roles.
- Drive core HR programs independently-from performance appraisals and compensation cycles to employee engagement initiatives.
- Leverage HR metrics and headcount analytics to provide valuable insights for leadership decision-making.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive HR generalist or HRBP experience, specifically gained within large corporate environments or matrixed organizations.

- Proficient in HR Information Systems (HRMS) and MS Office applications.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
