Job Description

About This Position

As a HR Business Partner, you will perform as a HR strategic partner for Henkel Malaysia including commercial, supply chain, finance, and IT. You'll be working with leadership to provide guidance and consultation on variety of topics relating to people, organization development, organization design, talent acquisition, organization change management plus managing and delivering sound HR solutions to leadership and employees at all levels.

You will have opportunities to navigate through complex and diverse groups of internal customers and stakeholders who will face unique situations and have unique needs from one to another which will require appropriate level of business strategic relationship management skills to understand insightfully in order to provide value added and constructive guidance and consultation.

What you´ll do

Business Partnership:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, managers, and employees to understand their business objectives and challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders on HR-related matters, including talent management, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support business goals.

Talent Management:

  • Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs and develop talent acquisition strategies.
  • Collaborate with RPO recruiters on recruitment including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Collaborate with relevant team to manage onboarding candidates.
  • Implement talent management programs, such as performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.

Employee Relations:

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Organizational Development:

  • Partner with business leaders to design and implement organizational structures and processes that support business objectives.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

HR Operations:

  • Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Be able to travel for business domestically and internationally.
