KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Integration Development (70%)
- Build/test API integrations using middleware; perform code reviews, explain decisions, and align with architecture/business needs.
- Handle edge cases, data validation, and scalable designs in collaboration with teams.
Integration Maintenance (20%)
- Monitor data flows; troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and document fixes clearly.
Innovation (10%)
- Optimize tools and performance; assist upgrades, configurations, and deployments with CI/CD practices.
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development (such as Java, Python, or other backend languages) or EDI/API programming.
- 3+ years MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle, including design/optimization.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
- Experience in Linux is a plus.
- Experience in CI/CD is a plus.
- Experience in the forwarding industry is a great plus.
- Business-level fluency in English is a great plus.
- Excellent problem-solving: articulate thought process, ask clarifying questions, handle time pressure.
- Eager learner with teamwork focus.
- Strong communication: explain code/design choices, collaborate effectively.
- Able to effectively leverage AI tools, and make final decisions with own judgement.
