Our client is a well-established international firm with a strong presence in Asia and a long-standing reputation in trust and fiduciary services. Based in Hong Kong, the firm is seeking a Head of Trust to support continued growth and the ongoing development of its fiduciary platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Leadership & Strategic Direction
- Set the strategic goals, objectives and operational plans for the trust services function.
- Lead, develop and manage the trust administration or advisory team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Foster collaboration with internal teams (legal, compliance, tax, wealth planning, operations) and external stakeholders to drive service excellence.
2) Trust Operations & Administration
- Oversee the end-to-end trust administration workflow, including the creation, ongoing management and review of trust structures.
- Ensure operational efficiency, quality control and adherence to internal policies and service level agreements.
3) Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with Hong Kong regulations and global trust laws applicable to trust services.
- Oversee risk management processes, fiduciary risk oversight, KYC/AML compliance and audit readiness.
4) Client Relationships & Business Development
- Manage and deepen relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) or ultra-HNW clients, advisors, and intermediaries.
- Support business growth through trust service enhancements and client service excellence.
