Key responsibilities

Provide full leadership and management to the Fabric Development & Procurement departments in Southern China, ensuring high efficiency and achievement of all performance targets.
Define and implement departmental strategies, work plans, and operational workflows to maximize team productivity and meet company objectives.
Oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain process for fabrics, ensuring superior quality, on-time delivery, and effective cost control.
Manage supplier selection, relationship management, and performance evaluation.
Drive the fabric development process to create innovative and commercially viable materials that align with high-fashion standards.
Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure consistency from development through to bulk production.
Lead and execute group-wide product development projects for core and target categories, from initial concept to final production.
Ensure all new product initiatives are aligned with market trends, customer requirements, and the company's strategic goals.
Participate in resource planning and budget management for the development and procurement functions.

Role requirements

Diploma in Textile Technology, Fashion Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in R&D
Proven expertise in managing the full product development lifecycle for high-fashion/apparel products.
Strong, established network of fabric suppliers and in-depth knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning, budget management, and driving operational excellence.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
Fluent in Chinese and English.
