Head of Project Management

Our client, a fast-growing data centre developer/operator is looking for a head of project delivery.

Role Summary

Lead project execution, governance, and compliance across site construction, project delivery, site management, contractor management, commissioning, health & safety, and project control functions for data center development projects. Ensure alignment with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, risk management, and operational objectives. Oversee governance frameworks, reporting, project controls, and stakeholder coordination across multiple campus developments.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, policies, and reporting standards.

- Oversee project controls including schedule, budget, risk, change management, and compliance tracking.

- Ensure alignment with corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and internal approval processes.

- Coordinate with Development, Construction, Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and external stakeholders.

- Drive governance reviews, project audits, and executive reporting for senior leadership.

- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies.

- Support contract governance, procurement compliance, and documentation management.

- Ensure consistency across regional data center development projects and programs.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Competencies & Behavioral Skills:

- 10–15 years of experience in data centre project governance, project controls, PMO, or large infrastructure / data center projects.

- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, governance frameworks, and compliance processes.

- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and cross-functional teams.

- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

- Experience in hyperscale and colocation data center developments.

- PMP, PMI-SP, or related certifications preferred.

- Familiarity with APAC data center development projects is advantageous.
