Purpose

  • Lead and scale the global Product Management team, executing the PBU market strategy to drive PBU business growth sustainable and profitable. Bridge regional teams across Asia, USA and Europe.
  • Lead a 20-30 PM team (commercial PM and technical PM) across China, Taiwan, Europe and USA with an annual revenue of USD $600M.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
  • Manage a hybrid PM team: Commercial PMs (pricing, delivery, allocation, margin, product mix) and Technical PMs (product promotion, technical trend, NBO's follow-up, sales contact window, customers R&D engineering engagement).
  • Lead, coach and unify teams across worldwide - respecting local working styles while driving global alignment.
  • Commercial PM Management

1. Oversee price positioning and define pricing strategy, capacity allocation and delivery

support.

2. Driving competitive intelligence, competitor landscape and pricing negotiation

strategies.

3. Bridge sales and factory operations to better service customers need

  • Technical PM Management

1. NBO's follow up

2. Guide Technical PMs to support customer component engineers on Design-in,

technical reviews, and application support

3. Ensure smooth technical communication between internal R&D and customers

engineering teams

  • Product & Market Strategy

1. Work with R&D together to define new product roadmap for PBU products

2. Manage product lifecycle, NPI, PCN and EOL

3. Define pricing strategy and execution

  • Cross-regional Coordination

1. Align global pricing, product positioning and technical messaging across regions

2. Travel as needed to key customer sites and regional offices.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in electrical / Electronic Engineering, Business or related field. MBA/EMBA is a strong plus.
  • Professional Experience: 15+ years in product management, regional sales head, FAE head, technical sales head and R&D head within electronic components (inductors, transformers, or closely related magnetic components) and Power application in automotive, telecom, industry, consumers and AI server. Proven experience working with global customers.
  • Technical Skills: 1) Familiarity with Pricing models, Contract terms, Planning knowledge, Financial (margin) concept. 2) Strong understanding of Design-in process and customer R&D workflows. 3) Knowledge of product lifecycle management and NPI.
  • Soft Skill & Competencies: 1) Cross-cultural leadership – must have directly managed or worked closely with teams globally 2) Strong communication – able to bridge commercial vs technical viewpoints 3) Conflict resolution across regions and functions – strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability.
  • This role requires deep expertise and hands-on experience in the magnetics inductor field. Candidates from the electrical components or related industries will be given priority. Commercial-heavy profiles are acceptable, but candidates with technical background are preferred.

  • Travel Requirements: Willing to relocate (in Taipei) and travel internationally (30%-40% time)
