Purpose of this Position
Lead the transformation from a hardware-centric business model to a value-driven OT service organization. This role is responsible for building, scaling, and monetizing service offerings across the industrial networking domain, driving recurring revenue, improving margin structure, and strengthening long-term customer relationships.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Service Strategy & Business Growth
- Define and execute the OT service business strategy aligned with corporate transformation goals.
- Develop 3-year service roadmap, including life-cycle services, subscription models, and high-value offerings
- Drive service revenue growth and increase recurring revenue ratio
- Building OT Service Team
- Service Portfolio Development
- Build standardized and scalable service offerings (Service SKUs)
- Design services including maintenance, monitoring, network optimization, and OT consulting
- Define pricing, packaging, and margin models
- Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement
- Integrate service offerings into hardware sales motions (bundle strategy)
- Enable sales teams to transition from product selling to solution selling
- Establish service sales playbooks and key account strategies.
- Operations & Delivery Excellence
- Establish scalable service delivery models and processes
- Improve service efficiency, utilization, and delivery cost structure
- Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction
- Customer Success & Life-cycle Management
- Build long-term customer engagement models (contracts, renewals, success programs)
- Increase service attach rate and contract renewal rate
- Strengthen customer retention and lifetime value
- Financial & KPI Ownership
- Own service P&L, including revenue, margin and cost structure.
- Track and deliver key KPIs (service revenue %, recurring revenue, gross margin, etc.)
- Report business performance to executive leadership
Minimum Job Requirements
– Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Business, or related fields, MBA preferred.
– Professional Certificates/Licenses: Relevant certifications in networking, OT, or cybersecurity are a plus
– Experience
- 10+ years in industrial networking, OT, or related industries
- Proven experience in service business, solution business, or business unit leadership
- Experience in transforming business models, leading a new business units or start up experience strongly preferred
- Strong P&L ownership experience
– Language: Fluent in English & Mandarin
