Job Title: Head of Finance & S2P-Q2C

Department: Financial Shared Services

Reporting to: CEO with a dotted line to the COO & GM Southeast Asia

1. Role Summary

Purpose:

To manage and execute the financial control function across OrcaNation's entities, ensuring accurate

accounting, statutory compliance, fiscal governance, and timely reporting. The role supports strategic

decision-making through robust financial data and risk management. In addition, the Head of Finance will

carry the core responsibility of all processes associated with S2P - Source-to-Pay, or Supply Chain and

Q2C - Quote-to-Cash or Sales & Cash Cycle..

2. Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger processes.

Ensure timely and accurate month-end closings (by the 10th of the following month).

Deliver year-end financial statements (by the 20th of the month following year-end).

Maintain clean and auditable records for all entities: Singapore, Malaysia, Portugal, and

Indonesia.

Automate and enhance statutory and stakeholder reporting.

Cash Flow & Forecasting

Provide clear and reliable cash flow forecasts.

Monitor working capital metrics including DSO and DPO, ensuring they meet or exceed agreed

benchmarks.

Compliance & Audit

Liaise with audit and company secretarial service providers to ensure regulatory compliance.

Ensure audits are completed by mid-year with no major findings.

Maintain fiscal governance in line with the Delegation of Authority document.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

Support the annual budgeting process with accurate historical data and forecasting inputs.

Monitor budget adherence and highlight risks or deviations.

Process & System Improvement

Recommend and implement simplifications and improvements in financial processes.

Drive adoption of scalable tools and systems, especially for Commit to Excellence and Quote to

Cash processes.

Risk & Governance

Conduct financial due diligence for new partners, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

Ensure proper governance of financial data and documentation (storage, access, IP , and updates).

S2P - Source to Pay

Optimise the entire S2P Supply Chain process

This includes purchasing and sourcing optimisation

Associated Terms & Conditions and overall vendor management

Cash flow optimisation and the management of the contracts portfolio with our vendors

Q2C - Quote to Cash

Optimise the entire Q2C Cycle and process

This includes the cycle from quoting our customers to receiving the final payments for all

customer experiences

3. Role Objectives

Performance Indicators

Objective:

Detail the key performance indicators (KPIs) or metrics that will be used to assess the team member's

performance in the role. These should directly relate to the responsibilities and objectives outlined above.

Reporting Timeliness

Month-end reports by the 10th of the following month.

Year-end financials by the 20th of the following month.

Audit completion by mid-year.

Financial Health Metrics

DSO and DPO at or better than agreed levels.

Clean audit outcomes with no major findings.

Engagement & Compliance

Positive Employee Engagement Index, improving year-on-year.

Successful grant applications (e.g., Singapore government).

Governance & Risk

Compliance with Delegation of Authority and statutory requirements.

Effective due diligence and risk mitigation in financial operations.
