Our client is a global industrial manufacturing business with an established presence across APAC. Following significant regional growth and ongoing transformation initiatives, they are seeking a senior finance leader to partner with regional leadership and drive business performance across the region.

Job Description

Reporting to the Global CFO and serving as a key member of the APAC leadership team, this role will lead the regional finance organisation across multiple countries and business units. The position has evolved beyond traditional financial controllership and is designed to be a strategic finance leadership role supporting business growth, operational excellence and finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall finance function across APAC markets, providing both strategic leadership and operational support.
• Partner closely with regional commercial and operational leaders to drive business performance and profitable growth.
• Develop a robust regional finance framework covering planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management.
• Support integration activities across acquired businesses, ensuring consistent processes, controls and governance.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, visibility and decision-making capabilities.
• Provide commercial insights and recommendations relating to pricing, margin improvement, cost optimisation and investment decisions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strengthen working capital performance, cash flow management and financial discipline throughout the organisation.
• Foster collaboration across country finance teams and develop a high-performing regional finance organisation.

The Successful Applicant

You are a seasoned regional finance leader with experience operating in a complex, multi-country industrial environment. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are comfortable navigating both executive-level discussions and operational execution.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
  
• At least 10 years of leadership experience within industrial manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology or related sectors.
• Demonstrated experience leading finance teams across multiple APAC markets.
• Strong business partnering capabilities and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting organisational transformation, acquisitions or integration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain finance and cost management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, performance-oriented environments.
• Hands-on leadership style with a proactive and self-driven mindset.
