We are seeking a hands-on engineering leader to build and scale a next-generation low-latency trading platform across traditional and decentralized markets. This role combines deep technical expertise, architecture ownership, and team leadership within a high-performance trading environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of a greenfield low-latency trading platform supporting both off-chain and on-chain trading.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team across software, infrastructure, and platform functions.
- Own delivery timelines, coordinate dependencies, and ensure high-quality execution across the trading stack.
- Oversee trading infrastructure including market data, execution, risk management, and operational systems.
- Drive improvements in latency, scalability, reliability, and overall system performance.
- Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and business stakeholders to align technology with trading strategies.
- Establish strong engineering practices across testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in senior technical leadership roles within trading environments.
- Strong background building or optimizing low-latency trading systems in HFT or electronic trading environments.
- Deep hands-on programming expertise in C++, Rust, or similar high-performance languages.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end trading infrastructure, including market data, execution, and risk systems.
- Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and complex technical initiatives effectively.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
