Head of Data and AI

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Data & AI to lead our regional data, analytics and AI agenda within markets. This role will drive enterprise-wide data transformation, enabling data-driven decision making, advancing AI adoption and building scalable data capabilities that deliver measurable business value.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical credibility with executive presence, partnering closely with senior leadership to shape strategy while remaining hands-on enough to guide architecture, challenge technical decisions and lead complex enterprise initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional Data & AI strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead enterprise analytics capabilities, delivering insights that support strategic decision making and business performance.
• Drive the adoption of AI and Generative AI through practical, scalable use cases and appropriate governance.
• Oversee enterprise data architecture, platforms, governance, quality and security to ensure a robust and scalable data ecosystem.
• Partner with business and technology leaders across the region to deliver enterprise data and digital transformation initiatives.
• Build, lead and develop high-performing regional teams across Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science and Data Governance.
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, technology partners and vendors.

Requirements

• 15+ years experience leading enterprise Data, Analytics or AI functions within large, complex organisations.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale data transformation and analytics initiatives in a regional or global environment.
• Strong expertise in analytics, business intelligence, data platforms and modern cloud technologies.
• Experience defining and implementing AI strategies, including Generative AI and responsible AI governance.
• Deep understanding of enterprise data governance, regulatory compliance and information security.
• Executive presence with the ability to engage and influence C-suite, Executive Committee and other senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on technical credibility with strong commercial acumen and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams across multiple countries is highly desirable.
