The applicant must possess
- a recognised degree in Corporate Governance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Communications or other relevant disciplines. A postgraduate qualification would be an advantage
- at least 12 years of relevant experience, with substantial experience in corporate governance, corporate secretariat, board administration or public sector administration, preferably gained in sizeable organisations, statutory bodies or public institutions
- demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving service excellence, with the ability to establish and enforce service standards across multiple functions
- strong awareness of digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with proven ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance governance and corporate secretariat functions
- strong analytical, organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
- excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, board members, committee members and external stakeholders
- excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage.

Duties include
- to lead the Corporate Secretariat Team in providing high-quality and professional secretariat services to the Council, Committees, Boards, Task Forces, etc. ensuring compliance with established governance policies, procedures and best practices
- to oversee the Corporate Secretariat function across the Council, providing functional leadership and professional direction to secretariat support staff assigned to various Boards and Committees to ensure a consistent standard of service delivery, governance support and stakeholder engagement
- to establish, implement and monitor corporate secretariat standards, policies and procedures, including overseeing the quality, consistency and timely submission of meeting papers, minutes and related documentation, and promoting standardisation of formats, protocols and governance practices across the Council
- to provide strategic and administrative support to the CIC Fellows, including liaison with the Chairman and Fellows, coordination of meetings, visits and engagement activities, and organisation of annual and special events to foster continued engagement and promote the Council's mission and initiatives
- to support the formulation, implementation and coordination of initiatives that enhance the quality, professionalism and competitiveness of the construction industry, including the development of guidelines, codes of practice, codes of conduct, policy recommendations and industry research initiatives
- to lead the continuous enhancement of corporate governance and secretariat practices through the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation and digital technologies, with a view to improving operational efficiency, service quality, stakeholder engagement and organisational effectiveness
- to provide executive support in corporate governance, administration, management and operational matters, including special projects and initiatives as assigned
- to perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director from time to time.
