Applications are invited for appointment asHead of Communications (at the rank of Assistant Registrar) (Ref.: 536104) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (HKU Business School), to commence from September 2026, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
HKU Business School, a leading institution in Asia, is seeking a dynamic, creative, and forward-thinking communications leader to drive its branding, marketing, and public affairs strategies in an increasingly digital and globally connected environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Dean and the Associate Dean (External Relations), the Head of Communications will lead the development and execution of events, communications, branding and marketing strategies to enhance the School's global reputation and visibility. The appointee will play a pivotal role in shaping compelling narratives, delivering high-quality events and initiatives, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and positioning the School at the forefront of business education.

Terms and Benefits
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided where applicable.
