Job Description
- Lead the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting function for the Taiwan entity, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, group accounting policies, and internal control standards.
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and statutory accounting activities.
- Drive the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for regional and global headquarters.
- Manage the statutory audit process and act as the key contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure effective tax compliance and coordinate with internal and external tax advisors on tax-related matters.
- Strengthen and maintain a robust internal control environment in accordance with corporate policies and group governance requirements.
- Partner closely with FP&A, Finance, Tax, Treasury, HR, and business functions to provide accounting expertise and support business initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting efficiency, and drive finance transformation and automation.
- Lead and develop the accounting team, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Act as a key finance representative for Taiwan and collaborate with regional/global finance teams on cross-border projects and initiatives.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, system implementation, process improvement, and other strategic projects as required.
