Job Description

Brief Description:

  • The FPGA development engineer role will directly involved in the FCC (flight control computer) definition, architecting, simulation and integration & verification of flight control computer products and contribute directly to the current and future AVIAGE SYSTEMS products and systems. The successful candidate is expected to have education or technical background in FPGA logic design, implementation, test, and is also expected to be capable on problem solving to ensure system progress.
  • Additionally, the role will work close with others HW engineers and SW engineers to demonstrate team collaboration and technical capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform FPGA requirements capture, architecture definition, design, synthesis, place & route and timing analysis.Perform FPGA RTL test bench generation, RTL/gate level simulation, physical testing on target board.Complete FPGA device integration and verification with hands-on experience in product integration, testing, and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers resolve the issues found during the integration/verification.Work closely with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA design into module.Ability to achieve FPGA development results in a cross-functional environmentAbility to provide technical solution/ proposals when work on the specific product, etc.Assure proper technical data and substantiation generated from the assigned projects and tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or above cover Microelectronics, computer, electronic information engineering, electronic science and technology, communication engineering and other related majors.Minimum of 1 years experience of developing FPGA.Proficient in Verilog language, proficient in Vivado/Quartus development tools.Familiar with ModelSim simulation environment.familiar with common low-speed interfaces, such as GPIO, UART, SPI, IIC, CAN, etc.High-speed interface, such as PCIe, Ethenet, EMIF development experience is preferred.AXI interface design, high-speed data acquisition and development experience is preferred.Good communication skills

Qualifications Desired:

  • Strong RTL coding skills and knowledge: DMA, Memory, RAM/ROM, PLLs, and some knowledge of low-level communication protocols: AFDX, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, etc.Background in DO-254 and DO-160GWork experience of onboard productsPractice experience on the projectsFamiliar with airworthiness regulations and industry standards
