Job Description :

We are currently seeking a Hall Executive to join Jockey Club Student Village III (ref: 536469) in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations in our student residence.

The Role

  • Assist with the administration and operations of a cluster of residences, and be responsible for general office administration
  • Handle inquiries and student matters in a timely manner
  • Coordinate residence meetings, events and service projects
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, handle procurement, and ensure stock availability
  • Record income and expenses, process invoices and payments, and assist with various financial tasks
  • Offer support to student residents by addressing their inquiries and concerns and
  • Coordinate residents move-ins, move-outs and room relocations.

The appointee may be deployed to various clusters of student residences based on operational needs, as determined by the Dean of Student Affairs.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Preferably a recognized University degree, OR at least completed Form 5 or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics OR a min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Good organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Attention to details and a good team player
  • Genuine interest in student welfare and student development and
  • Proficiencyin PC applications such as MS Office Suite, knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Canva, would be an advantage.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
