DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION
The Group Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of the Group Consolidation for the Group.
DAILY DUTIES
- Responsible for the consolidation of accounts for the Group and ensure reporting deadlines were met for monthly financial reporting
- Work closely with the regional finance team to ensure all deliverables meet the requirement and expectation for group reporting, including enforcement of appropriate documentation and adherence to internal accounting control
- Strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience on full set of accounts
- Supervise and lead the local and overseas finance team on accounting operations
- Partner closely with subsidiaries finance team for review and analysis of subsidiaries monthly management accounts
- Preparing of monthly Board meeting reports, annual financial statements including notes to accounts, annual budget and Corporate tax.
- Ability to independently handle annual audit matters
- Undertake ad hoc assignments
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRE
- Possess a degree in accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Possess solid hands-on experience in preparing consolidated financial / management reports for a group with multiple functional currency and significant intercompany transactions
- Strong eye for details and positive attitude
- Willing to work with counterparts in different time zones
- Transfer Pricing experience preferred
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skill
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
