Sand Studio is looking for a hands-on Sales Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for solving customer problems — someone who enjoys building demos, running PoCs, and making complex products feel simple.
You'll work across our product suite, starting from our market-proven MDM solution AirDroid Business and our new AI platform GoInsight.ai, helping customers design practical workflows that improve how their teams work.
You don't need to be an'AI expert'today; what matters is that you're comfortable with technical concepts (APIs, integrations, data) and eager to learn and apply AI where it makes sense.
You'll work side-by-side with our Head of Go-To-Market and the sales team to translate business problems into robust solutions and clear demonstrations, from first discovery call to successful proof-of-concept and early rollout.
Language requirement:Fluency in both Chinese and English is essential. You'll collaborate daily with English-speaking stakeholders, report directly to the Head of Go-To-Market (in English), and part of the interview process will be conducted in English.
What You'll Do
一、Pre-Sales & Solution Design
1.Partner with AEs and the Head of Go-To-Market to qualify opportunities and shape automation / integration use cases (e.g. lead enrichment, customer support flows, internal tools, MDM workflows).
2.Run technical discovery:understand data sources, APIs, existing tools, MDM environments, and the customer's current automation maturity.
3.Design and deliver tailored demos (MDM + AI workflows) that clearly demonstrate business value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
4.Own PoCs and pilots:configure flows, connect external systems, define success criteria, and present results and next steps in a structured way.
二、Automation & Workflow Design (incl. AI)
1.Design end-to-end workflows across AirDroid Business and GoInsight.ai: triggers, integrations, API calls, basic error handling, and access control.
2.Over time, design AI-enhanced workflows:incorporate LLM steps, simple RAG-style knowledge lookups, and basic evaluation of results.
3.Collaborate with Product & Engineering to turn successful customer patterns into reference architectures, reusable templates, and demo assets.
三、Technical Leadership in the Sales Cycle
1.Act as the technical owner for mid-to-complex deals: explain how our solutions fit into the customer's stack, and coordinate with Product/Engineering for deeper architecture, security, and data privacy questions.
2.Support RFP/RFI and security questionnaires, gathering the right inputs internally and packaging them clearly for prospects.
3.Provide structured feedback from prospects and customers to improve product roadmap and GTM messaging.
四、Enablement & Evangelism
1.Create playbooks, demo scripts, and workflow examples that the broader GTM team can reuse.
2.Help run internal trainings on new automation patterns, GoInsight.ai use cases, and ways to position AirDroid Business + AI together.
3.(Optional) Represent the company in webinars, community events, and meetups around automation, MDM, and AI use cases.
五、Light Post-Sale Support
1.Support a clean hand-off to Customer Success and Professional Services, staying involved as a trusted advisor during early rollout.
2.Help troubleshoot early technical issues, ensuring customers realize the outcomes positioned during the sales cycle.

Background (Must-have)
●3–5 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or a similar customer-facing role in B2B software / SaaS
●Experience working with customers in a technical or solution-oriented context
●Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
●Native Chinese and good working proficiency in English
Core Skills (Must-have)
●Comfortable explaining technical concepts in a clear, structured way
●Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or data flows
●Able to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams
●Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable learning new tools and technologies
You don't need to be a deep AI specialist. We're looking for solid technical foundations plus curiosity and learning agility.
Nice to Have (Plus, not required)
●Experience with one or more of the following:
1.MDM or endpoint management
2.Automation or integration platforms
3.Customer-facing SaaS products in a technical domain
●Hands-on exposure to automation, scripting, or integration tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n, CRM workflows, or internal scripts)
●Basic scripting or technical experience (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar)
●Familiarity with AI tools or concepts (e.g., ChatGPT, AI copilots, prompt design)
●Ability to understand and discuss solution trade-offs (performance, reliability, security, cost)
●Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Sales & Communication Skills
●Comfortable interacting with customers in meetings, demos, and PoC reviews
●Able to present solutions and explain technical ideas in a structured, engaging way
●Strong storytelling and demo skills — able to turn real-world problems into clear solution narratives
