Job Description

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world's largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

As a Global Talent Acquisition Project Manager, you will be a pivotal individual contributor responsible for harmonizing and optimizing our talent acquisition processes across global regions. You will leverage your project management skills, systems thinking, and extensive experience to streamline recruitment workflows, identify efficiencies through system enhancements, and drive global consistency. Your role will be critical in ensuring our global talent acquisition process is integrated, efficient, and aligned with our organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Global Process Optimization & Integration:

(1) Lead the analysis, design, and integration of global talent acquisition processes, identifying and implementing standardization and efficiency gains through systems thinking and system-driven solutions.

(2) Collaborate with regional teams to integrate local nuances into a scalable, cohesive global framework.

2. Cross-border Project Management:

(1) Manage complex global talent acquisition projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery, successful adoption, and effective resource allocation across regions.

(2) Facilitate collaboration and communication among diverse global partners to achieve project goals.

3. Operational Excellence & Standardization:

(1) Drive operational excellence in global talent acquisition by defining and implementing standardized processes, communication protocols, and reporting mechanisms (e.g., global dashboards) to ensure consistency, optimization, and influence.

4. Technology & Solution Implementation:

(1) Identify, evaluate, and advocate for global technologies and innovative solutions to enhance recruitment processes, candidate experience, and talent tracking/reporting capabilities.

(2) Lead the implementation of new systems or functionalities to support streamlined global recruitment operations.

Other requirements:

1. Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.

2. Minimum 8 years experience in in-house talent acquisition and proven experience in leading talent acquisition projects.

3. Experience in both international/multinational corporate recruitment and local talent acquisition, demonstrating successful cross-border project collaboration, communication, and understanding of diverse global teams and cultural nuances.

4. Proficiency in talent acquisition systems (ATS) and experience to apply systems thinking to analyze complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and design more system-driven solutions.

5. Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is ideal to better communicate with Headquarters.
