The Global Supply Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring supply availability, inventory health, and supply sustainability for Gaming products manufactured by GN's EMS/JDM partners, including Tier 1 suppliers. This role will manage product supply throughout the full lifecycle, from New Product Introduction (NPI), Mass Production (MP), to End of Life (EOL), while supporting demand pull from GN Regional Postponement Centres (RPCs) through Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
The position requires close collaboration with regional planners, demand planning, business units, project teams, manufacturing partners, and E&O teams to ensure timely product availability, healthy inventory levels, and effective supply execution.
【Key Responsibilities】
VMI Replenishment Planning
• Develop VMI replenishment plans based on regional demand analysis and sales forecasts.
• Define supply requirements according to short-term and long-term demand forecasts.
• Proactively lead production and material planning discussions with EMS/JDM suppliers.
• Monitor supply status and identify potential risks to ensure timely replenishment to Regional Postponement Centres.
NPI Supply Planning
• Work closely with project teams, manufacturing partners, and Regional Postponement Centres to develop product ramp-up plans.
• Coordinate production planning and scheduling to support First Customer Shipment (FCS) and Go-to-Market timelines.
• Ensure supply readiness during NPI phases, including capacity, materials, and production schedule alignment.
Product Lifecycle Supply Management
• Manage product supply throughout the full lifecycle, including NPI, Mass Production, and End of Life.
• Coordinate with Business Units, Demand Planning, and E&O teams to support Last Time Buy (LTB) decisions based on product EOL plans.
• Monitor product transition plans and ensure supply continuity during lifecycle changes.
Capacity and Manpower Monitoring
• Monitor Tier 1 supplier assembly capacity to ensure alignment with demand requirements.
• Track supplier manpower readiness and identify potential capacity constraints.
• Work with suppliers to address capacity gaps and support production continuity.
Inventory Control and Monitoring
• Maintain appropriate min/max inventory levels for assigned products in VMI.
• Drive healthy inventory turnover and support achievement of inventory KPI targets.
• Balance inventory across Regional Postponement Centre hubs.
• Monitor aging inventory in VMI and regional hubs, and work with regional planners to develop depletion plans.
【Qualifications】
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply planning, production planning, or supply chain management.
• Solid experience working with manufacturing environments and external manufacturing partners.
• Experience in New Product Development / New Product Introduction planning.
• Strong data analysis capability, with the ability to translate data into actionable supply plans.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Kinaxis Maestro / RapidResponse is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, RapidResponse, or equivalent systems.
• Fluent in English, with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
