Global Sea Logistics Training Expert

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers promises. The Sea Logistics Training Expert is responsible for ensuring effective training delivery across country- level operations. This role involves monitoring training compliance, aligning training materials, and supporting trainers to enhance organizational competencies.

How you create impact

• Ensure that all training is accurately recorded in the company's learning management system at county level (LMS).
• Ensure that country-level trainers follow standard content alignment guidelines.
• Monitor + report the completeness of training for hard + power skills.
• Stay updated on industry developments and competitive practices by researching workplace training methods and techniques.
• Align with training content expert to provide assessments to determine the effectiveness of training strategies/programs.
• Ensure that country-level trainers have access to necessary tools and resources.
• Develop training concepts + learning paths for teams + individuals.
• Enhance organizational productivity by improving knowledge and competencies.
• Conduct interviews and surveys to aid content creation.
• Liaison with subject matter experts to develop or refine training content.
• Provide one-on-one mentorship to country level trainers.
• Support various training activities as required to support countries.

Oversee training by collaborating with department managers, supervisors, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop plans for training both new and existing employees.

What we would like you to bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sea Logistics, with solid knowledge of sea freight systems and operational processes.
• Fluent in English( listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with senior management and regional trainers across different countries.
• Strong presentation skillsto deliver training and facilitate sharing sessions.
• Proficient in MS Office.
