As a key leadership position, the incumbent will play a critical role in shaping the company's overall quality strategy, driving the development and continuous improvement of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), and ensuring alignment with both internal expectations and external regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the global quality team, covering both QC and QA functions
- Support the development and continuous enhancement of global quality processes, policies, and systems (QMS), with a focus on efficiency and scalability
- Partner with Product and R&D teams to integrate quality planning throughout the entire product lifecycle—from new product development to post-market issue resolution
- Define quality validation standards and establish plans for new product introduction, ensuring effective execution by the quality engineering team
- Ensure manufacturing partners maintain robust quality systems to deliver consistent and reliable product outcomes in line with specifications
- Track and analyze product performance in the market, identifying opportunities for design and process improvements
- Oversee product certification processes, ensuring proper execution and documentation
- Lead and guide QC engineers in onboarding new suppliers and production sites in a timely and effective manner
- Monitor compliance related to social and environmental standards (SEC) across manufacturing partners
- Develop and standardize collaboration frameworks with third-party auditors
- Ensure suppliers establish and maintain proper SOP documentation, meeting defined performance and quality criteria, including tolerance settings during development
- Oversee compliance requirements related to product readiness across different categories
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline (ASQ CQE or equivalent certification is a plus)
- Minimum 15 years of experience in quality management, preferably within manufacturing environments, including team leadership experience
- Hands-on experience in building and improving quality systems and processes (QMS)
- Background in Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies is advantageous
- Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capability
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and planning skills
- Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced and complex environment
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
- Capable of identifying and developing talent, fostering team collaboration and growth
- Fluent in both Chinese and English; additional Asian language skills (e.g., Vietnamese, Tagalog, Thai, Bahasa) are a plus
